Hi there Lightwavers!
I am interested in getting information about the progress of porting our
favorite package over to the SGI platform, what minimum system configs
will be neccessary, what the optimum configurations are, and what the
chances of becoming a beta-tester (blatant begging request) are.
I am asking because we have some world renown space scientists here at
UNH who are interested in making 3D animated videos of our boiling sun
spewing solar-atmospheric bits and coronal mass into the earth's
magnetosphere (his words not mine). The idea is to show the world that
space is far from being empty, that there are high-energy phenomena and
that these solar phenomena affect our lives and our planet and our global
ecosystem.
These animations will be broadcast world-wide on Space Weather Forecasts
with Lightwave getting fabulous publicity (or as much as we can spread
around).
Interested parties (Stuart, Allen, and the product-gods at Newtek) please
reply via e-mail. We now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast.
